GFMS-1.0 is the published format for a sealed wildfire-mitigation and fuel-evidence record: how it is structured, validated, and sealed so records mean the same thing across sources.

Why a standard

Without a shared format, every operator’s “treated” claim is a private spreadsheet. GFMS exists so a record is comparable, auditable, and usable in a filing, an audit, or a counterparty review — regardless of who captured it.

What a conforming record carries

Asset identity — named feeder, span, pad, or site
Capture & custody — who, when, timezone, chain of custody
Condition before and after — measured, or honestly labeled where modeled
The seal — integrity hashes and sealed-at provenance
State metadata — access grant and conformance state

Multi-operator by design

GFMS is a format, not a certification body. PlotSeal accepts conforming records from High Plains Shield and from other operators under contribution agreements — same audit gate.

Not sold as: a pricing scheme, capture software alone, an analytics black box, or a contractor certification badge program.
